-You must begin to think of yourself as becoming the person you want to be
-Nothing builds self esteem and self confidence like ACCOMPLISHMENT. Start by doing something that you can be legitimately proud of so you can say…I did this!
-Get a reputation by being the runner in the neighborhood.
-Transformation isn’t a future event, it is a present activity
-Don’t call the world dirty because you forgot to clean your glasses
-Most of the things you worry about never happen

&lt;p&gt;Love to BBQ all year long, but it’s so terrific in the summer! I put my shrimp on skewers, lightly sprayed with spray olive oil and seasoned with dried dill, pepper, and lemon. Grilled until just pink. I added a little salt at the end (I don’t add salt to fish before or during cooking typically as it can toughen them). &lt;p&gt;There’s a great coffee shop in my building’s lobby. I try not to go there often as they have wonderful pastries that are hard to resist. Well, I’m not sure why, but I was thinking of their pear tart and wanted one soooooooooo bad. I almost went down there but then I remembered a recipe I saved. It was quick and yummy and I probably saved 500 calories by not getting the one downstairs:&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Pears, fresh, 1 pear, medium (approx 2-1/2 per lb)&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Pecans, chopped fine, 5 grams&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Honey, 1 tsp&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Cinnamon&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Peel, core, and slice pear. Heat in microwave for 1 minute. Drizzle with honey and sprinkle nuts and cinnamon on top.&lt;/p&gt;

Ava self harms, a lot. She didn’t self harm at all this week for me since it was my birthday week. I made a deal with Ava. If this picture of her (this stunning little girl) gets 1000 notes, she will not self injure any more. She swore this to me, and she is not one to break promises. Please, please help me with this. Like it/reblog it/do whatever you can. No 7th grader deserves to have cuts all the way up their arms and thighs. Keep her in your prayers :)&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;I’ve lost about 60 lbs. It’s been a slow, gradual weight loss. The picture on the left is when I was 11/12. The picture on the right was taken a week ago, I’m now 20. I can’t believe I used to wear a 24 in woman’s jeans and a 2/3X shirt. Now I wear a small shirt and 8/9 jean size. Keeps me motivated to keep going! :)&lt;/p&gt;

A piece of toast (look at the seeds on the crust….it’s not called “Dave’s killer bread” for nothin’….so good) with 1 Tablespoon of almond butter completed breakfast for  a total of  422 calories.&lt;/p&gt;
